720 Colleagues enroll on Early Career and NPQ programmes with the Alliance

We are delighted to have 540 new Early Career Teachers enrolled on our ECT programmes with Ambition Institute and the Education Development Trust, along with their 490 Mentors and supported by their school Induction Tutors. This really is good news for our region, to have all these enthusiastic new teachers in our schools, committed to their own continuing professional development and being supported by their mentors to ensure that their teaching is the most effective for our pupils. Well done to all for navigating the registration processes in this new system!

We also have our first cohorts recruited for the new look NPQ programmes with 180 participants preparing to start in November. The DFE recently announced that they are extending full funding for all schools for all NPQ programmes. We are now recruiting for NPQ courses starting in February. We have a simple 3 step plan to applying for NPQs with the Five Counties Teaching School Hubs Alliance.
