New to Primary Subject Leadership

Starting in January 2026, this online programme has been designed for teachers taking on a curriculum area / subject leadership role for the first time in a primary school setting.

Cost of full programme – £60

This course will consist of 3 x 90 minute after school online sessions.

We will be exploring some of the key tasks and attributes that a curriculum leader in a primary school should have, explore what being a subject leader is all about and offer practical ideas of how to lead, monitor, evaluate and develop your subject – and yourself ! This programme is particularly suitable for ECT2s and post ECTs – and other interested teachers.

All sessions are online and run from 3:45pm – 5:15pm.

Please note, you will need to attend all three twilight sessions.
