Exciting CPD opportunities coming up this term!
The Five Counties Alliance plays an important role in delivering CPD tailored to school staff in our region.
This is an additional offer from the ECT programmes and NPQs offered by the Five Counties Teaching School Hubs Alliance.

We have a range of exciting and impactful sessions and courses coming up this term.
For the first time this year we are pleased to invite you to register for Makaton training! The first session will be delivered as a 2-hour long twilight session on 23rd October at a cost of £55 for anyone attending. This session is also being repeated on 15th November plus there is the option to complete Level 1 Makaton training on 15th January.A very popular session last year was Supporting Neurodiverse Teachers with one attendee saying “I wish I’d attended this years ago, every teacher should attend!” The session will be delivered again on 28th October from 3.45pm.
We are pleased to offer again the very successful online and twilight, New to secondary and New to primary leadership courses as well as Pedagogy Essentials where there is the option to sign up for the suite of six sessions or to choose from the following:
- Session 1 – Explaining
- Session 2 – Modelling
- Session 3 – Checking Understanding
- Session 4 – Practice
- Session 5 – Feedback
- Session 6 –Adaptation
