Faye Kitchen is Executive Headteacher of Mangotsfield Primary School and Strategic Lead of South Gloucestershire and B&NES Five Counties Teaching School Hub Alliance. Having enjoyed a 20 year career in teaching and leadership within the South West, Faye is particularly experienced in recovery work and the supporting of strategy and vision within schools needing improvement. Passionate about enjoyment and enablement for all and driven strongly by a positive and spirited approach coupled with high expectations mean all can aspire and succeed, regardless of barriers. Faye champions values-led work, underpinned by living, classroom-based research to develop pedagogy that secures rapid and sustainable growth though distributed leadership opportunities.
Faye’s greatest achievement and current deployment of strategy is the parenting of 4 year old twins who bring immense joy and equal challenge! Being an energetic role model for them is important. Alongside professional life, enjoying socialising and exercise means life is busy and exciting; fast paced and satisfying!
