Next term, the Five Counties Teaching School Hubs Alliance is hosting a free conference for anyone involved in mentoring teachers who are part of Initial Teacher Training or Early Career Teacher programmes. We are delighted to announce a brilliant and highly regarded keynote speaker who will be joining us for the day:
Haili Hughes
- Haili was an English teacher, middle and senior leader in secondary schools for 15 years. She is now a Director of Education at IRIS Connect – a video professional development company for teachers and a Principal Lecturer in mentoring and professional development at the University of Sunderland, where she leads 1200 mentors. In addition, she works as an ITT Quality Associate for England’s education government body, the Department of Education. She is one of the few educators in the UK who facilitates the Early Career Framework, trains new teachers and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers, as well as marking them for Teach First. She speaks in 150 schools a year as an educational consultant and has written 5 bestselling books with 8 more on the way.
