New to Secondary Subject Leadership

Are you new to leading or aspiring to lead a subject in a secondary school?

This new online programme has been designed for teachers at all stages of their career who are taking on a subject leadership role within a secondary setting.

Cost of full programme – £60

This course will consist of 3 x 90 minute after school online sessions.

We will be exploring our motivations for subject leadership, we will discuss how we build our expectations for an expertise with subject knowledge in our teams and how this impacts on student learning. 

We will also consider how we employ effective leadership behaviours within our line management and how we can improve the teaching and learning within our subject area.

All sessions are online and run from 3:45pm – 5:15pm.

Those signing up will be expected to attend all four twilight sessions.
