Exciting Early Years news!
We are delighted to announce that Bristol Early Years Teaching Hub has now become the Bristol & Beyond Early Years Hub – A Stronger Practice Hub for the South West region, covering: Bristol, BANES, North Somerset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Swindon.
The Stronger Practice Hubs programme is part of the DfE’s Early Years Education COVID-19 Recovery Package. The programme aims to support settings to address the impact of the pandemic on young children, by sharing effective practice and building lasting local networks.

Mailing List
Please sign-up to the Bristol & Beyond SPH mailing list. They will be sending out monthly / termly newsletters with upcoming events as well as good practice examples, guidance and resources. You can also say if you’re interested in hearing about regional EYs networks.
Your Voice Matters
To make SPH work for you, Bristol & Beyond really need to hear from you about the challenges you face, what you need and how you would like them to support you through the SPH. Please take 10 minutes to tell us about your setting by filling in the Needs Assessment Form.
Free Launch Conference
Bristol & Beyond are launching their SPH with a FREE conference for the sector on the 18th March 2023.
Free Launch Conference – Developing Self-regulation in the EYS
It is running twice, so you can either sign-up for the morning or the afternoon conference. Bookings are limited to 4 per setting.
Please come and join us and be inspired by the keynote speaker Mine Conkbayir, who will share her expertise on ‘Neuroscience and Self Regulation in the EYs’. Mine will be supported by complementary guest speakers Ursula Krystek-Walton and Julie Harmieson, who will be helping Bristol & Beyond to put some of Mine’s theory into practice and make links with Trauma Informed practice in the EYs.
This conference is also a chance to introduce the SPHs, the rationale behind them, and to open up dialogue with practitioners and local authorities about how Bristol & Beyond can make the hub work for you.
