Our largest NPQ groups so far!

This spring has seen our largest number of participants so far signing up to study for one of our National Professional Qualifications for teachers and school leaders, the NPQs.

Nearly 400 of you have begun your journey of leadership with our two national providers, Ambition Institute or the Education Development Trust, EDT.

Our participants have included those from all types of settings and schools – Nurseries, specialist settings and alternative provision, primaries, secondaries, post 16 and FE and from many different locations within and beyond our Five Counties area.

Our numbers also include our first ever local cohorts of two new NPQs – the NPQ for leading primary mathematics the NPQLPM and the NPQ for Executive Leaders, the NPQEL.

If you are interested in applying for the next round of NPQs, applications open again in the summer term, with programmes starting in October 2024 and include a brand new NPQ for those wanting to lead SEND, the NPQSEND which replaces the current SENCo mandatory qualification.

We must send a huge congratulations to those completing and passing their NPQ qualifications recently.  Our NPQSL and NPQH outcomes showed we have the best results of any provider in the country to date, with 100% pass rate so far. Well done to anyone who has passed their NPQ  -we know you put in such commitment and we hope you can take the learning with you to your current posts and the next stages of your careers.
