We are delighted to inform you that the Five Counties Teaching School Hubs Alliance has been re-designated to continue to deliver the Teaching School Hubs for SW5: Somerset, SW6: South Gloucestershire and BANES, and SW9: Bristol and North Somerset for the next four years. This is great news for the continuation of the hub and our work with schools and staff across the region.

This milestone secures continuity of provision of the DfE Professional Development programmes for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and leaders at all career stages through the suite of National Professional Qualifications, the Appropriate Body service for Statutory Induction of ECTs in our region, and a coordinated approach to promoting recruitment to Initial Teacher Training and the pipeline of new teachers into teacher vacancies.
